PUPPIES

You could ask 'what is this thing he has for columns?' But if you want to ask that, you could just as easily ask 'why all the puppies and pigs?'. You know, just like Sir Edmund Hillary and Everest: because they are there.
OK, actually, I find (play sentimental music here) mothers and their little ones cute. The column, in this case, is simply a sugar bowl. So, column and puppies, you gotta problem with that?

I know why I keep coming back here. Because something always gives me a happy smile. Cute puppies!

Thank you! I wish you could see it: the puppies each have the exact same markings as the mama, eye patch, circle on back, tail.

That's the goofiest looking sugar bowl I've ever seen, Gary. I might have to buy it from you. :-)

THANKS!

Hmm ... Not the weekend to act fast. Brain cells are barely firing this morning. Only marginally worse that a normal day.

We have a Golden Retriever. Mebbe I'll commission something .. :-D

Mustt be a sweet dog!

Like most Goldens, Shark-Bait is a sweetheart. He's got the IQ of a potted plant, but we love him .. ;-)

SHARK BAIT?!

Hee hee hee ... Yup.

We're his second family. The kids in the first one were big Land Before Time fans and had tagged him Sharp Tooth. We don't really go for the cutesy, cuddly dinosaur schtick, so we tried to come up with a new name that sounded close enough to the old name to avoid too much confusion in his blonde head.

We've watched Finding Nemo a dozen time or more and Shark-Bait fit the criteria. Being scuba divers just adds some irony to the mix.

"Oooh Ha Ha!" Is optional when addressing him. :-)

I guess if I was a swimming type dog, as retrievers are, I might be a little nervous with that name....
