brain washing

Ever been walking around and developed an irresistable urge to make a toothbrush holder with a hippo on it? Wow, I sure don't know where that came from....
although I had to add a little alligator to the right side.

How on easrth would you wash a brain in that, Gary? Or is it much larger than it appears?

It's cool looking and all, but I doubt you could wash anything much larger than a heart in it ...

There are forces afoot, gordo, and subliminal messages have been suspected.
BTW. thanks, and they outta look a lot better with the glaze colors: grayish blue for the hippo, green on the alligator and maybe blue for the toothbrush holder.

Gary, have I mentioned how jealous I am for the apparent ease with which you turn out these pieces? They're all incredible. :-D

Truth is, I had no control over the whole thing this time: Muad Dib sent a subliminal message last week and I had no choice but to make the piece. I woke up in time and added the alligator.
Thanks gordo, 23 1/2 years in clay, since I was 17, I can do some things in life, but the list of what I cannot do is mighty long.
Actually, I can do the Monday NY Times crossword, some weeks.
