BORAT MEETS BECK and I play hockey again

Alert readers recall that I skate as well as my cats skate, but I often dream I am a hockey star. Such was the case last night when again I strapped on skates and grabbed the stick and ....my team never found the locker room. We were looking and looking and looking...
Borat and Beck together, for tunes o' the day. Nice.

You'd've been a star on my high school's hockey team.

I am guessing they skated, as I do, with no idea how to skate, and very little experience.
Hey, I say something the other day in Kingston about hockey and a ball type arena? Maybe you folks do it off ice too?

Well, Denis, in my dreams I am a member of an all-star traveling team. I do not know where this comes from, perhaps my twin, from whom I was seperated at birth, is out there sending me psychic signals. He must wonder why he dreams of hippos and pigs.

You really should come back up in the winter and check out our nice, new, very expensive outdoor rink behind City Hall, Gary. The ice is chilled so that it's skateable up to about +10C. Bridget and the boys gave me my first skates in 20 years for Christmas last year. Somehow I managed not to fall once.

That would be most enjoyable. Note, Snoopy skates on his paws.

I've only missed A Charlie Brown Christmas four times since I can remember. It's past our boys' bedtimes, though, so I have it on DVD for them ... :-D

It was worth a post above. With tie in of course. Glad you have the dvd, we have the music and I am embarrassed to say that I play it constantly in December.

Well, it is the every day, over and over aspect that is embarrassing.
