Well Denis, we could have cut that thing up, but pushing it around with a bucket loader on a tractor....a million times easier and more fun!

My two-year-old is so totally jealous.

I'm totally jealous ... I'm going to have to haul gravel down the lane by the wheelbarrow load on Saturday. The neighbour with the Kubota is a weiner, so we can't borrow his toys.

Well gordo, its all in the attachments, you see. You got your bucket loader to move the gravel, then you have your scraper behind to smooth it out. Sweet. Of course, you should see the SNOWBLOWER! Does a quarter mile (half kilometer?) both ways in lickety split time. Oh yeah, grass cutting too.
Gordo, you're young. The exercise is good for a person, I am sure.

I'm not as young as I used to be, Gary. The biggest problem is that the lane is 1000 feet long and the gravel is conveniently piled at the bottom end of the lane. Naturally, the worst spots are abotu 3/4 of the way to the other end of the lane.

Mebbe I'll get our nigthbour, Jen, to haul it in her 4WD ... It's a company car, after all ... LOL

Point taken, gordo--that is a huge haul! You get older and achier and you ask yourself 'what am I willing to spend my precious energy on?'
My dad has a little wagon around somewhere too.

We need to get one of those dump-trailers for the tractor. That would make things much easier ...
