Squared Bowl: a video starring ME

My wife saw this and said that women everywhere will fall in love with me(really! she said it!) (she saw me making pots back in '89 and that's what happened to her....)but that's impossible because all you see here is my hands, my fuzzy knee and my squeaky little voice.

How fun that was to watch! I need to know how you pick it up and move it now.

Tell your wife I didn't fall in love with you - just the bowl :-)

Hmmmmm...a square bowl. Who'd a thunk it? Obviously, you did!

I do like that your bowls are not heavy and clunky. A joy to use!

And you can assure your wife that I am madly in love with my own husband. :)

NOT heavy and clunky is high praise indeed! ....and my potter friend Patricia is scooping up some ideas....
Lynda, the pot as you can see is quite wet and would fall apart in removal, except I use flat metal lifters, then place it on a board to dry. Very large pieces are made on a special board attd. to the wheel.

Aww, it won't play properly for me.

hmmm...working OK, maybe something with your computer...

Dang. No sound on my computer so I cannot hear the squeak---of the wheel OR of your voice. ;)

Yeah, I can't get it to work either.
I love the bowls below though.

I am sitting here, utterly bemused, and muttering 'now isn't that neat!' Nicely done, Gary, and, durn you, you make it all look so bloomin' easy! Just, this, this, this, this, and voila! Yeah!
