The night of the PIGGY BANK
So off I go with my carload of pig bodies and tools and supplies, to Thou Art Gallery in Groton, NY and my class in pig making. People are so darn creative and skilled, it is like this group had made a million pigs already!!!!
Douglas and Peter who own the Benn Conger Inn (what a gorgeous place!) and their friend whose name I have forgotton (sorry! she is in the second picture down) were there, plus Nancy who owns Thou Art and Janet who owns the church the gallery is in (look for the lady in the blue dress with the many pretty tattoos) and Dee who is a painter, and who put BUTTOCKS onto her piggy.
Next week: glazing!
Thanks to missus potsblog for taking these pics!!!!!

Looks like you all had alot of fun! Quite a big class, eh Gary? Seems everyone is having a good time. Love the butt on that one pig.
That stained glass window in the background, is beautiful!
It is a church! Former church, turned into a gallery.
Those buttocks are great. Pretty funny!... Looks like it was fun for all. Congrats Gary!
Love the butt pig! My aunt used to do classes like this. She lives in northern Minnesota and made her living in ceramics. Now she runs a quilting business.
omg I LOVE the bums!!!
Adding the buttocks is such a good idea! What a lot of fun that group must have had!
the class was a blast, and it was impressive how everyone took to it like fish to water!
Wow, look at all the support for piggy bums. Time for a new design, Gary? ;-)
It takes a great teacher to inspire...and looks like you did an exemplary job of it! They are all really cute!
That looks like a ton of fun. And some great pics to prove it!!
Well if you're going to put buttocks on a piggy bank, you should at least make the coins come out of that end!
Piggy Buttocks!! (Won't that just give you some interesting hits?)
Does this mean you are changing your style, Gary? That pic just cracks me up! [unintentional pun, but now that I think about it...]
It looks and sounds like your class was VERY successful!
Great pics, Maude!:)
Hey, I just noticed that piggy also has wings!
