On the Fall Creek-Triphammer and Ithaca Falls Cornell suspension bridge (usually just called the suspension bridge). Ithaca and Cornell are unusual in that you're walking along the sidewalk, and then there is a sudden drop down a gorge into a creek bed 400 feet below----and there are ALOT of gorges like this, and YES, people die of accidents and suicides every year. Occaisionally you see a warning sign or fence, most often you're on your own! Sadly, an 18 year old died just below this sign and bridge a couple of weeks ago.
