One thing I like about Maggie's blog (I really need to get the links section back together on the right) is her menu. Now everybody knows what her son and little twins have to look forward to!
This potter loves to cook, and has the responsibility of keeping the house well fed. PETA (yes, that PETA)had a vegan stew recipe the other day in their magazine, which I have now made twice. The secret to stew in general, I find, is you can put anything in there and call it stew, and it will be delicious if: you simmer it all day, and you spice it very generously. In this case, veggies and veggie broth and fake meat and a potful of leftovers thickened slightly with mashed potatoes, simmered all day make a fantastic stew.
