Just whack the bowl a few times. A visiting customer last week noticed a scalloped edged bowl kicking around and really liked it. Sure, why don't I make a bunch more? What you you do is make an extra thick rim and split it, later whack the piece a few times.

hey really cool. I think it's neat when something so.. simple can change the look, feel and presentation of an object. I just wish I could whack my porjects a few times and have it turn out as lovely!
