Hippos, handles and Human League

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAj_-9ZfQlU&mode=related&search=
Gosh, this sounds like The Human League. 80s new wave is retro, makes you feel a little old! Our music is retro! The neighbors had us babysit last night with the 5 year old. When they got home I said 'I feel old!' and they asked why. Well, 5 year olds have a certain level of activity and energy that I can only watch with wonder.

Crap. I can't believe I had the time this morning and forget to check for videos before leaving home.

This is good breakfast video stuff too and totally entertaining. Thanks Flea for the intro!
As for kids: you have to admire a five year olds' appreciation for the good life. Chocolate milkshake and chocolate cookies late in the evening? Sure! Hot dog too? Why not! My days of teaching and discipline are well behind me, and so long as a kid is not irritating me, he can do whatever he wants. That is life as a childless 40 year old retired teacher. Bonus: when you play board games and you are not out to teach anything, you can randomly roll the dice, invent rules, and move however you wish, although the 5 year old ALWAYS wins.

That's all I get? A picture of handles, 2 music videos and a promise to show vases? Cool handles. Maybe you will write down how you make them and leave it to me in your will, along with the glazes.

Jack, you have to use a little creative imagination, maybe work out the techniques yourself. That is the fun of pottery, I think, like the engineer figuring out how to get a bridge across the river. Sorry, this isn't an educational site, just some views of what this guy is up to.

Gary, that's cold. I mean, dangling a few juicy items in front of the public, but keeping the technique a secret? Guess I will keep reading, though, and maybe some ideas will rub off, such as the bottles vs vases debate.
