plates plus pottery in action

(plates and salad by Gary Rith)
OK, kcinnova's first round of plates were a tad smaller than she needs for 4 growing boys, so we kept them. The next batch are made from more clay and wider than the requested 9.5-10 inches, and hopefully will be good for their needs.
I am glazing here soon, more plates for me, and then making more plates blah blah blah. A very ordinary work day. I am noticing that when we had wild out of town guests I didn't take any pictures. Basically, nothing ever happens in my life and I blog it extensively, whereas when something happens I am too busy to blog it.

I've noticed the same thing. Funny how that works. celeste crawled in rather late last night gushing about the wonderful time she had down there. There were threats of moving, but I chalked them up to exhaustion.

That is some lovely looking salad there on those beautiful plates!

Try this salad: mixed greens (and purples, if you like), a sprinkling of feta cheese, dried cranberries, sliced almonds, then add a dash of red wine vinegar and olive oil. YUM.

At least there were no cop-car rides this time.

Maybe next time we could get a side view of the couple??? lol!

It was a close call that first night. Maybe next time you guys could come, too, and bring your camera. ;-)

Sure thing! Who could be too busy to photograph Celeste?
