Everybody is so supportive. OK, here is the jade glaze test I described. The very middle bit looks quite good, but everywhere else it is very blobby and streaky. I'll try it again TEN TIMES THICKER and see if the whole thing looks like the middle bit, otherwise I'll start tossing in other ingredients to make it more_______.

It will be a beautiful colour once you have the kinks worked out. Maybe you should try the pancake batter ;)
