Le plate: trimming!

My pal Kcinnova, as I say, has ordered about 10 plates and bowls, and yesterday I put up a clip of throwing a plate. Here is trimming the half dry plate, and a clip of glazing a plate just below.

This is so neat! I had to go get another plate and look at the bottom while I watched you etching the "foot" of the plate.

You can see that the plate bottom is rough and has extra clay. You want to clean all that up.

This is all tremendously fascinating! I'd be afraid of making a mistake and having to start all over again...
