(summer solstice at dawn in Stonehenge)
Don't you just love the longest day of the year? So much nice weather ahead!

Beautiful picture of Stonehenge. I love the solstice - we get 16hrs & 59 minutes of sun today and almost two more hours of twilight. Almost makes up for all that snow.

Crap. I forgot my naked bonfire-dancing. Do you think the neighbours would mind if I just did it a day late?

Yikes! I just realized that I'm probably not the true optimist I've always thought. You know the glass half full/half empty theory? In considering the summersolstice question, I've always felt it depressing because it meant we'd begun the downward count and each day brought us closer to winter and its blahs. Help! Now I need a happy pill! Just kidding. Well, sorta. But I do try not to think about it too much. ;-)

Horrid day, horrid place... have you ever smelt a Druid after a full night's chanting and dancing... :-(
