speaking of SPIKE

(frog mug with Spike glaze by Gary Rith, Spike and Emily cats)
I was walking with the missus yesterday evening and saw a real frog, and several bunnies, red squirrels and birds and such, but anyway, it is well know I love frogs.
The NEW glaze recipe called Spike seems potentially very froggy to me, and you can see it well used here, PLUS another shot of Spike's greenish eyes which inspired the glaze name.

Frogs are very important creatures, Gary. They're indicator species: they're affected by pollution and habitat issues before others. Having them around is a good sign.

Frogs love our pool. They sit on the ladder and call to their friends in at the pool next door. I love frogs... And that glaze is gorgeous, Gary. You done splendid!

Fortune Cookies' froggy checkers game is really a love! And, yes, that Spike color is truly a beautiful and lovely green. Anyone know why it seems to be so calming and peaceful? I find it very much so.
