front and back!!!!!!!

(jade glaze looks good on the front of these tests, AWFUL and streaky on the back, plus Penny and Buster front to back or whatever)
Tink's word challenge for the week is 'front and back'. I have been working on a new glaze recipe and this was an example of jade which would look good in some spots, TERRIBLE in others, but if you read below, you'll see how I made a perfect NEW glaze!
Plus, of course, doglets on the couch...

Wow, that right one doesn't exactly the same on both sides. How do you do that? I can't even hang a picture straight!

Hi Gary! Thanks for visiting my blog. Love the humor in your work! And your dogs... Mine is with me in the studio all the time. People actually come to visit her instead of me or the pots!

is that a subliminal peace sign in belly of the lower left vase?

I like the glaze, even if it's not even. Shh, don't tell anyone and they'll never realize it wasn't MEANT to be that way.
And of course I love Penny and Buster. Who doesn't love puppy love?

That will be a beautiful glaze once you have the kinks out Gary. I like the streaks on the left bottom vase.

Great shot of the dogs!

I dunno---I like the crazy streaks. Almost looks like a tie-dyed pot.

I like streaky, I do streaky a lot, it's my response to the tidiness of industrial pottery - keep it streaky!

Cool pots, a lot of fun, you must be smiling a lot when you're making them.
Best wishes from England

very pretty glaze, Gary. And Penny and Toot must have the same chiropractor, or maybe it's a new Yoga stretch...; )

Beautiful color in that glaze. It's such a cool shade. Great WWC! It's like the glaze knew it shouldn't be perfect on both sides :-)
