The garage is very old. Pictures of our house from 130 years ago show the basic house with a shed in back. This place was the cobbler's home and workshop. 50 or so years ago, an addition was added, my studio now, and the shed was moved up and attached. Just about everything in the garage is old, drafty, creaky and leaky, so I went up on the roof to tar some holes. Turns out I need to tar the whole darn thing, sigh, so back for more.
OK, back to Canada! Here is a sweet pop/folk singer named Sarah Harmer, who has sort of disappeared from the airwaves after much success a few years ago.

Turns out she has been an activist, and hanging out in Kingston, ONT. And she has produced plenty of music, but why havn’t my stations played it? When she sang ‘basement apartment’ my lungs hurt too. (oh, that sounds soooo sentimental, but really!) Try this tune

Another "back in the day" story...Sarah and her sister used to be Weeping Tile and Psycho bought their tape from their mom.
You get around, don't you cm?
You listen to this woman's music and you want to go to Kingston and hang out in coffee houses with beatnicks and discuss deep issues.
