You've STILL got snow, Gary? If it makes you feel any better, it's only 2C (36 funny degrees) here right now, heading for 6C (44F) today. And it's infally reasonably sunny! We've had rain, rain, more rain and a bit of snow this month. Ugh.

Well, Gordo, there is a certain flirtation with snow, but nothing sticking here. Why don't I live in the tropical northern climes of Kingston instead, where the sun shines and the kids are extra smart?

I assume you speak of Kingston, NY. I went to college in New Paltz.

Unless you mean Kingston, Jamaica. In which case, I will shut up now.

Susan, I have a bunch of pals in Kingston, ONTARIO, which is north of here, but south of your hometown Malone. Therefore the subtle joke: sometimes Canada has better weather than us. Actually, a lot of southern Ontario has better weather, because as I complained earlier in the week, the prevailing westerlies blow through Ontario, across lake Ontario, creating, as you know, the snow belt here. Nice and sunny up there, cloudy and snowy down here.
I bet Kingston, NY is also warmer than here most of the time. Don't get me wrong: I love it here, grew up near here, but it makes for good natured griping sometimes.
