From a movie I havn’t seen, ‘Queen of the Damned’, but I read the book once upon a time. I was job hunting in the summer of '90, and I read a lot of Anne Rice books, but then found, after about 8 or 10 of her books, that I had pretty much gotten my fill of angst and gore.

I believe it was Queen of the Damned that was the end for me. I gave up halfway through.
Yes! The original 'Interview with a vampire' was quite original in every way, but then.....it just kept going and going like a broken 45.
