like going to Canada

(pots by Gary Rith)
As I have said, when I work at Cornell's ceramics studio, the materials and glazes are different, so my work is too. Like visiting Canada: so similar, yet different!
I did a glaze test on the frog mug--green inside and moss outside, now I want the moss recipe. It is a very pretty blue-green isn't it? (I have the green recipe and want to get the ingredients to mix soon). And as I said yesterday, I have also worked in brown clay with black glaze....sweet. Yesterday I was there making bowls shaped like black labrador retirevers....

My goodness Gary but you are prolific, in clay and writing. :) "with more cows" too funny.

Gary, I've got your same kind of paycheck. Well, okay, not really. I commented about it at Tink's.

LOVE LOVE LOVE that froggy mug. Colors are WONDERFUL together!!
And I'm not even a froggy person.
(That sounded weird)

I have heard that baristas make SIX or SEVEN BUCKS and hour! If I ever needed to move up in the world, I would pull espressos.
(disclosure: this is, of course, kidding around--I am not a millionaire but if I make it, I sell it)
