4 sugar maples....

(Mister Potsblog on the bridge in Etna over Fall Creek and at the Etna Playground, with Penny and Buster)
....around our house have turned orange. It starts the first week of August, and before you know it the trees are bare and then it is CHRISTMAS and then stinking FEBRUARY with endless grey days and ice and snow up to your nose. Dang.
Of course, it is gorgeous today and has been a beautiful and perfect summer.

Our trees here are looking a bit like they want to change too, Gary. Usually the first glimpse is directly across the road at the sugar maples. Probably in the next week or so, we'll see some red.

Dang! is right! We know what comes next...

I can't believe the color is already starting. Ughhh. It'll mean an early peak and we'll miss it. Please keep posting pics of the fall colors.

I have noticed subtle changes here, too. I hope we gets lots of snow this year. I love snow.
Yeah, I said it. DON'T YOU DARE THROW ICE-BALLS AT ME!!
(even if I deserve them)

I notice that you are collecting fall leaves instead of four-leaf clovers today.
