I can't think of anything but Monty Python's song..."Spam,Spam,Spam,Spam..."

I never liked Spam until I went camping with our Samoan friends, and we had fried Spam with our breakfast pancakes. It is now a camping food staple...not that we've been camping in the past 2 years...

But I know what you are talking about!! Can't you just filter your comments so that whenever you get a new or anonymous commenter, that comment has to be reviewed by you first? Comments from folks you have already "OK-ed" in the past are automatically accepted. I know I explained that in a complicated manner, but wordpress allows me to do this. But then, I still have those annoying capcha thingies, too. *sigh*

There needs to be a good vegan equivalent to spam.

spam=blech,
a very good term to refer to all the foreign idiots who send heaps of nonsensical messages to my blog (and email)--
without even thinking, I call telemarketers on the phone spammers too

spam is awful - it shut down my comments for almost 4 days once. What on earth do they think they are accomplishing? Are there actually idiots out there who BUY their products, or sign up for that million dollars in a safety deposit box in Africa? There must be, or the spammers wouldn't be bothering.

On a brighter note, I have a friend who went to the Spam Museum (yes, Virginia, there IS a spam museum - it's in Minnesota) and she brought me a pencil with the spam logo all over it. Very cool.

I, however, do not eat spam, being a pescatarian. What tasty vegetarian brand of sausage are you praising, Gary? Morning Star Farms? Boca? I am always searching for new vegetarian finds...
