2 baby teapots

(teapots by Gary Rith)
I had made these as demos during my class at the Cornell potshop this summer. I love cane and bamboo handles so much, I have been collecting them for years. When I make a teapot that needs a handle I just poke through the box until I find a good fit.

I could not agree more, Gary, about either cane or bamboo. Both lovely, and both just seem to add a touch of authenticity to a teapot. After all, doesn't most tea come from the mysterious Orient? I have one I love I keep on display with a bamboo handle, I'm up extra early this a.m. due to a fire I'm thinking in the apartment adjacent to mine. Much stink and water and excitement.

I need to add that the water is seeping in/up from somewhere on my bedroom carpet! Ugh.

I also love those handles AND those colours, Gary! Wowwee!

ML, I feel your pain. Water is a wonder and a curse all rolled into one.
