- Gary Rith is a full-time studio potter and also an instructor of pottery at Cornell University's Pot Shop. Gary started learning pottery in 1983. In 1985 he served as an apprentice to Dean White of Deansboro, NY and earned a bachelor's degree in art from Bennington College in 1987. He has been a full-time sculptor and potter since 1997. Gary started his business in New Hamspshire, where he was selected as a member of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen in 2004 and in 2005 was named one of New Hampshire's Emerging Ceramics Artists. He moved to the Ithaca, NY area in 2006, near where he grew up, and is happily making pots and sculpture in a purple house on Fall Creek. Gary likes to laugh, and his first goal is to have fun making pots.

What did I tell you, Gary? Pound puppies are professionals at manipulating people. LOL
Listen, its a wonder I didn't fill the car with cats, dogs, bunnies.
Penny is so small though, she hardly counts as an extra pet.
Yeah, well, a winsome 30-something crawled into my lap last weekend and kissed me but I didn't bring him home with me.
She looks really sweet and like she gets along with your other 2. What do the cats think? Outnumbered now!
Well, just the one cat now, and there was a bit of a tussle. The cat won and Penny keeps her distance. The cat seems pleased to be on top, but a little mad because she didn't want a puppy.
I know just how you feel GR.. and one reason I stay away from those places or I'd simply be taking them all home!
