Kliban cats
B Kliban is long gone, but his cartoons, especially of the round and amused black tiger cat, live on. I went to college with his (can I say it here?) nutty daughter Sarah. Our Emily cat could have been his model.
OK, back on it today. Dreamt I was a hiding out bank robber, and there was a shootout, but I emerged on top and made a successfull escape. Such adventure! Tonight's weather report is most Januaryish, with mucho snows predicted, and for the next few days. Our little flower buds are very stressed out.

Count me in with your flowers. I've noticed that when you get snow, about two days later, we get it up here. Ugh. Keep it!
I don't want it! Let New York City have it instead!!!
Probably no snow for here. The forecast is hedging best with lines like "snow or rain", so we'll see. Environmen Canada just released their 3-month guess and Kingston's supposed to have "normal" temperatures from April to June and "below normal" precipitation. Yay, a dry, warm spring. Summer's going to suck.
Hey Gordo, "Environmen" would make a great band name. ;-)
Hey, if you don't like snow and ice, why do you live in the north? Its raining here, but in the 60's. :)
Ellen, the tongue goes out, the thumbs go into the ears and the fingers wiggle as we blow out air making this sound: PHHHHLLLBBBTTT!!!!
I love that guys cats! I get his daily calendar every year!
(Hope the owner of the plants doesn't get stressed out!)
Gordo: Hope you have an air conditioner..you ain't seen nothin' yet...summer gonna be hotter and drier than usual!
Hopefully you live close to the lake!
Gord has a cottage on an island and he says we are ALL invited to his place.
One of our sayings at home is "Never eat anything bigger than your head." The name of one of the Kliban books. We have one cat is is a dead ringer for his kitty too. A fat brown tabby.
Cute little vases.
