birthday gifts I have gotten: 1966, 1999, 2006
This little bracelet was my zero birthday gift, an ID bracelet from the hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska when I was born. With some pushing, it would fit my thumb now. In 1999 my present was Buster (the little black dog on my lap, with his brother Jack, and Petey who is not with us on this birthday year). Buster is now 8 and bigger than me, and despite the handsome look of the 'stache, I am currently clean shaven. Last year was a biggie, turned 40, my sister gave me my first ever flowers and a balloon, and my wife gave me a purple house, or you could say we gave it to ourselves for my birthday.

A Happy Happy Birthday to you. I come bearing no gifts, except well wishes - from John Bailey's blog. It was lovely of John to "discover" your pottery and to share it with all of us - his devoted fans the world over. I love the whimsy of your work.
Happy birthday, Rif!
Thanks Bex and I am so glad to hear from the California delegation (Mama P), reminding us that the left coast is a bit silly.
Happy Birthday, Gary, my slightly older friend!
A very happy birthday to you! I hope you had a great day.
BTW, I think the penguins and skunks are great....
OH! Thank you!
