kiln action shots

So, what happens and what does it look like when you glaze fire in the kiln? Most exciting. 12 and a half hours long, reaching about 2200 degrees, and here at this point you can see a whopping 1400 plus, and a glowing red spy hole. This kiln is electric, and with the firing panel not much harder to operate than a microwave and a cup of coffee.

Does it use a lot of electricity so as you'd notice it on your hydro bill? But you'd be able to deduct this off business incomr tax, right?

Posted some smiling kitties for you today, just for a "laugh"!
