immortalized

(Sammy in the middle and work by Gary Rith)
You can see in the bottom pic the color scheme and scroll I sort of have in mind for Sammy's memorial, which turned out well. It will be fired with smears and smudges of iron and pecan glaze along his back for the marmalade colors.

Well done.

I think it's both very fitting and beautiful.

Thanks. He had this big fluffy tail, that part was easy, and he was a character, and had a little cat/Mona Lisa type smile.

Awwwww. That made me cry a little. What a sweetie. And he looks like he had a great personality.

I am glad you were able to make something so special for him.

Throw a rock from your apartment and you would just about hit the spot on Carmen St by Broadway where he was found.
He was a sweetie, but a Chicago cat too: tough.

This is a beautiful way for Sammy to be remembered.

P.S. Both of my kitties offer their condolences.

Thanks, EH, although your cats and Sammy were not exactly friendly last time they met.....

What a therapeutic way to spend your day.

Sammy had this way of lying partly on his back, partly on his side, waving his paws in the air, like this figure.
