parade of pachyderms on a pot

(bowl by Gary Rith)
Been planning this for awhile, finally got around to it. The more the merrier, eh?
I was actually supposed to start making my pal's Kcinnova's plates, but you know......(dang, I said I would start those 5 days ago...)
Hmm. Start them some other time, I'm going to get some groceries, some peanut butter, nuff to last a couple of days.

Now go buy your peanut butter and get to work on my plates! :)

What plates?

Can't wait to see this finished!

Don't you know peanut butter is breakfast food? I'm eating carrots and hummus for lunch, but not on a plate.

Why are you so much fun to razz? I'm sure someone can shed some light on this...

That doesn't sound very civilized, KC, just eating stuff straight from the fridge, without a plate. Maybe you should go to Wa!mart and see if they have any plates on special sale?
I myself ate my peanut butter sandwich off a plate I made myself. I'm proud of my personal dishware. The smaller plates have pigs and dogs on them.
SO! Today, kinda doing this and that in the studio, glazing monster mugs, just made another little doggie for a cookie jar, then threw a teapot....

Ahem. FYI, I have been eating off the same stupid plastic plate for four months. All my REAL plates are packed, so all this back and forth about how good plates are is giving me agita.

But dang, those elephants look happy.

Ummm, would anybody care to see my carefully folded paper towel, which I use in lieu of a plate? Proper? Noooo. Do I care? Not really. Will I change? Maybe --and just stand gulping my food over the sink, but I've not sunk quite that low yet. And, FYI, I still use proper utensils for conveying food from towel to mouth, as well!

Hey, Mary Lee, I use the paper towel thing too! ha! Nothing to wash after, just pop it in the bin.

1 handful of baby carrots + 1 serving of hummus in a bowl = no need for a plate for lunch. It's all about the dipping. And the napkin. However, I WAS sitting at the dining room table, which was covered in a table cloth. 'Cuz I'm classy like that.
Wal*Mart for plates? Bah!! I'm waiting on REAL plates from Gary! ;)

I been trying to comment on this one for ages now, Gary. (I think blogger hates me.) Give it another try....

WOW! This is a sheerly exhuberant winner if ever I saw one.
