Mona asked me to fill in for her, with the Poetry Friday word. I complained "but I am a simpleton! a NOBODY! I'd probably choose a word like DOGGY! (besides, I have, ahem, never participated in poetry Friday, not being a poet or anything, but I'll have to change that)".
Mona, of course, is a fun loving person so she told me to do it anyway, doggy and all.
So. According to Penny here with my teddy bear, and me, the poetry Friday word is:
doggy.

Yikes! I am terrified of writing poetry. I have no idea what I'm doing and I always confuse people. Doggy sounds like a fine enough word to me.

Oooh! Haiku! I can hardly wait. For some reason, when 'doggy' is mentioned all that ever comes to my mind is that classic (?) "How Much Is That Doggy in the Window?) So adorably and stupidly cutesy. But it does have a tendency to stick in the mind -- unfortunately.
