a thing or two

(stuff by Gary Rith)
Lindapendent asked for maybe a creamer and sugar, maybe also a cookie plate to go with her teaset. Small, though. Nancy at Thou Art asked for wine corks plus piggy bottom mugs, and we shall deliver those today. Then we're off to see Denis' ladyfriend Kim in Corning, and the Glass Museum! It is, of course, a holiday weekend in the US, the weather looks very good, and I doubt if anyone will be looking at this blog this weekend, but potsblog is a machine, and I can't stop it. I'll be blogging even if you're not sittng at work slacking and reading this.

Well, let's just hope that Celeste isn't reading this! ha!

We're about to rip everything out of our den today. Desk, computer, bookshelves, etc. Take up the carpet and paint, this weekend. Hopefully, we'll have it done by next week.

Have a great weekend! Enjoy!

What do ya mean you're ILL AND IN BED???

You were going to Corning! To see Denis's girlfriend, Kim!

We're still moving stuff outta here. We're down to the actual desk area. It's a _____! (fill in the blank).

Feel better.
Gee - you get sick alot.

Isn't that the birthplace of the truly superb Steuben glass? All my life I've wanted nothing more than just one piece of that glorious stuff, and my idea of the ideal wedding gift was Steuben, as well. Corning Glass Works! Guess I better check it out, huh?

Um...I'm blogging and reading...Holiday weekend, and all.

Kids have school Monday! Can you believe it? So, no holiday for me.

Hope you don't miss your trip!? I HATE being ill....

I was down Friday, Gary. Phil kindly shared the pestilence that he had last weekend. What a nice boy.

So, there's an attraction in your neck of the woods that I have been you and you haven't? It was about 1982, but we did the Corning thing on a family camping trip to the Finger Lakes Region. The winery tour was fun, too ... :-D
