Penny hurt her paw while walking yesterday and squealed and cried, it was awful. I couldn't see anything. I carried her home, poor baby. Well, beagles are known for being highly sensitive to pain, and also being very noisy, so I asked 'is it a boo boo or something serious?'. She and Spike slept the afternoon away on the couch, and she was racing around all evening, so I guess it was just a boo boo.

Call me "over sensitive" but when kelli bangs herself in her frolicking and goes around limping or holding one paw up in the air I get all ... paternal ;)
poor Penny. Glad her little paw is better. Sunny dog is the same way.
