earth: my black thumb

I was given a variety of flower seeds, which have been gasping and plodding along inside in my care for a few weeks. I've had it. Anything green is going out into the yard today, sink or swim.

Can't you wait just one more week??!!!

My living room is overflowing with green at the moment, and I am SO ready to get them out in the garden. But I going to wait at least until the weekend . . .

I think the longer they are inside, the more of them die. I have no idea how to do this.

I, too, have a black thumb. Two of them, actually. There are only fake plants inside my house, to my husband's embarrassment.

I say plant them, there won't be a frost. If there is put some yoghurt containers over them and they should be fine.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I have a black thumb too. I apparently can't even grow ROSEMARY. Rosemary grows like a WEED here. Luckily, the people who lived in this house before started some gorgeous stuff, like roses and irises, and they are staying alive, presumably due to benign neglect and the fact that my neighbor gets to the point she can't stand it and comes and cuts back the roses. Meanwhile, I think the aloe I planted, and the bird of paradise, may both be in danger of kicking the bucket. Both hardy plants, until they meet Chatty *sigh*
