earth: my green thumb



I am OK with pansies and dianthus and marigolds (none of those yet) but tend to kill everything else.

besides, as long as you can grow pansies, marigolds, and dianthus, you've got the makings of a beautiful garden :)

You know - my neighbor gave me two metal washtubs just like the one you have here - You've just given me a great idea!

I think they're a nice flower box. I punched holes in the bottom for good drainage. The tub sits on top of the biggest tree stump in the world, and luckily the ivy has covered the rest of the stump. You'd never know a tree had been there.
