You talk about music's evolution, fom the cavemen beating the tree trunk with a club, through Beethoven, on to led Zeppelin and ending at Godsmack. Yes, you CANNOT get to Godsmack from Led Zeppelin without tipping your hat at the band named after heavy metal. Say what you will, but Lars whatshisnames drums are superb, and that particular growling vocal style (James Hetfield, right?) changed heavy metal.
