BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

(Penny and the ugliest couch on earth, gone to its maker, and a rather FAB pizza we just made)
Is this the FUGLIEST couch you have ever seen????????????????? FUGLY FUGLY FUGLY!!!!!
We were walking just now and the apartments on the corner had this in their dumpster. When we got up to it, some dude in a little black car was checking it out!!! As my wife said, 'that would be perfect on some frat's front porch!'. The dude took off when we got near. He was ashamed I am sure!
So, maybe circa 1974? Totally polyester? I mean, this thing is in pretty good shape, and it isn't entirely brown--note the little blue accent in the plaid. What is it about 70s stuff that reminds you off the inside of a baby's diaper?

In other news, we made TWO rather delicious pizzas. I made the dough---super-paper-thin, and the missus did the veg chopping. Pizza number two is ready when we get home late tomorrow from teaching class.

BTW---I am nearing post 3,333 in two years and one month at potsblog. Blogger tells me that I have reached 99% of my storage space. That's a whole lot of music videos and stupid photos!
I wonder what happens when I reach 100%? NEW BLOG! Le nuevo pottersblog!

Mmmmm, the pizza makes me hungry but I am too tired to eat (don't you hate it when that happens?)

I think I had that couch, I am quite sure of it. When I first got married...yes in the 70's an aunt let me have her old couch. I was thrilled at the time, beat sitting on the floor....now, looking at that one in the dumpster I am trying to remember what we did with the thing when we moved.....I swear...it's the SAME one!!

back up the blog? I wonder how a person does that? I don't really care if it is saved or not, I tend to blog in the moment....
listen. Peace, who DIDN'T have that couch?

Well Gary - that's one thing I didn't have! But I did visit homes where they had that stuff - ugh!

Hmm...that's an interesting segue between 70's color schemes and what you ate for dinner.

Post the recipe sometime and maybe I'd give it a try! Do you have to do the yeast thing??
