le canard: inspired by Cheri and Laura

(duck bowl being made and then finished by Gary Rith)
Cheri bought a cow bowl and said her daughter Laura likes ducks, what can I do?
I thought about it, and decided to see what I could make. I took an ordinary bowl, pulled it ovoid, then added feet and the rest.
Quack!

Ducks, too. Funny, canard is also a word used to refer to a tall tale. We all know you're a pro at those. :-)

Laura says, "Duckyyyyyy! Yay!!!"

Cheri says, "Gary, this is so awesome!!!"

Can you paint it yellow, with orange feet and black eyes? Laura would like to know. We want it!!! I'll email you about payment and stuff if you want to avoid Paypal.

Wow, that is totally awesome! How cute. Can't wait to see the finished result. You do HAVE to take a picture once it is colored and out of the kiln.
