bachelor junk viewing for the week

So, while the wife teaches the sewing class this week, me and the cats watched 'European Vacation' with Chevy Chase, a totally forgettable movie although utterly predictable but with the sole saving fact of Beverly D' Angelo, otherwise a waste of time, and also today, 'The Office'. Me and the missus had seen the original from the BBC which was excruciating and wonderful, and YES, Steve Carell knows how to play the Attila the Boss. What a D!CK. Hysterical, even though I have never worked in an office. Heck, I havn't even had a job in 11 years. But I do work, of course. And play with the dogs. But I can still understand what an office must be like. Terrible! Why would anybody leave the house for a job like that? Or a job? Beats me. Working somewhere else would take you a long distance from your own refigerator. And bathroom. So that was season one.....

Hence my reluctance to re-enter that world.

The Office - woo hoo! Watching it right now, and reading your blog, and editing articles, and working on Root & Sprout.

I'm a great multi-tasker!

cm, what masochist would work in an office?
Well, maybe Lis would, she's pretty focused.

A vert thick skin and the ability to ignore anything that doesn't apply to the immediate moment are the prerequisites. Even so, there are times when I can barely restrain my reactions in the television series and not 'talk back' or rush out slamming the door behind me. Steve Corell, is one most excellent actor! Anyone who can make acceptable a character as totally irritating as the one he plays is a genius. Abd YOU, Mr Gary, are one very lucky guy having a talent that pays the bills and let's you stay home!
