Pops is a painter

(Donald Rith, watercolor painter)
Visited my parents in the country today. Dad is a watercolor painter, showing some exciting new landscapes here.

I've just told Bridget that we're never coming to visit you, Gary. We'll wind up dropping half the family fortune with you for pots and the other half with your Dad for paintings.

Very nice.

Nice of you to say that. More likely we could fill your trunk with freebies. Your kids would sure like my parents' place, if they like fishing and swimming (although I realize you have your own cottage).

Wow! What talent and I can see where you come by it honestly too! You have the creative artsie gene. Your dad looks pretty cool...the type you could draw a charactericture for easily. Love HIS STACHE!
Does your mom do any artsie stuff? Siblings? Cats?!!!

:-) ... Phil loves fishing, Cameron hasn't been introduced yet. Yet. :-)

We're ALL fish. Having a home location just gives you a benchmark to compare others to. :-)

MOi my mom is very creative, knitting and sewing and stuff, my sister is a field biologist of the old fashioned kind, sketching animals and mapping territories.
There are MANY many artists in the ancestral line. I had no choice, it was in my genes.
