NOT shark mugs

(elephant mugs by GR)
BR's 15 teasets are cooling in the kiln and looking good, but in the meantime:
So the missus was wondering about certain sharklike handle possibilities which I tried, and did not do successfully, so I used the mug bodies to make elephant handles. Some ideas work easily, most do not. I shall keep thinking about this possibility.....
Cracked my right wrist somehow Monday. A person needs their right wrist more than they might realize. 10 years ago I fell on some stairs and did the same...painful, but just tendonitis. Fortunately, clay work feels very therapeutic but typing DOES NOT.

You'll have to teach one of the cats to type for you.

"Cracked my right wrist somehow" leaves one wondering...

Ha! I expected some big dramatic fall down the front steps or something.

Sammy considers himself to be, on cold nights, a purring teddy bear. He roots around on the bed then slips under the covers and makes himself comfortable, with his head on my pillow. He is quite toasty warm, and welcome between us. As for my wrist, I was just pulling up the sheet so he could move over a bit and ack! There goes the wrist.

thanks gord and D, BTW

Oh garsh, now I have a new favourite mug of yours....

Maybe you could put an elephantine tail on the other side of the head, like a fake spout...something to hang your teabag on, perhaps....

well, there are different versions of the elephant mug, this is the biggest and simplest
