Henry Rollins has a few things to say

Here at Potsblog, we may be too shy and reclusive to be social activists, but Henry Rollins does a lot to make up the difference, and for that we are grateful. At Peta 2 online Henry is reported as saying:
"Henry Rollins recently revealed to KERRANG! magazine that people would be surprised to know that he likes kids, handicapped people, the elderly, and animals. But that’s no surprise to us, and it shouldn’t be a surprise to his fans either, because you can typically find the Rollins Band frontman, sometime actor, writer, and spoken word master (man, he’s been busy since his Black Flag days) pissing off the powers that be while sticking it to the man and fighting for social justice. And if you haven’t caught this vegetarian jack-of-all-trades on VH1 or MTV dishing about pop culture, set the Tivo now, because his ever-insightful snippets are damn funny. He’s on the road right now, so a lucky few of you may even get the chance to see him performing spoken word right in your very own town. Jump at the chance, we would."

And Henry has a tune for us this morning, 'Liar', characteristically angry and energetic. My mom would not care for this music.
Final notes for this early am post: MORE, much MORE later, actual pots and such, and yes, dreamt of sneaking through Bristish customs with secrets, James Bond style.

Mr Rollins looks so clean cut here, like a bank officer or school teacher.
Such mystery and intrigue in my dreams, am I practicing for something?

I love Henry, have seen his several of his spoken word tours. He's my MAN, and says all the things I wish I could....

I notice that one of the other versions of this tune is set to the scenes in Hungary (post the 'discovery' that our PM is a liar --- I say 'discovery'like that with quotations because who but a complete ninny trusts politicians completely and is shocked to the point of rioting when the guy admits that he has lied). I hope you didn't take that personally. What I mean is, everybody lies. Politicians especially lie. The question is what do they lie about? Did they lie about a serious national threat, or about a marital infidelity? Was it a personal lie, or a lie involving the affairs of state? Also, did anyone die as a result? I think the charge of lying is important when the consequences are grave and when the lying is, for lack of a better word professional.

nothing to take personally, marian, we figured henry was talking about a politician a little closer to home, here in North America....
