the kite rises on the wind, the bowl rises on the wheel

Ooooh! Most philosophical.
All the talk of loafing and flying kites inevitably resulted in one thing: the newspaper goes unread, the shelves are filled with mugs and bowls, the potter's hands are frozen, but he is one step closer to finished items sold to customers so that he can buy cat food. The problem with a fun career is taking a break: why would I?

Flying a kite on a day as freezing cold as this one?! I think you've gone off the deep end, Gary!

oh yes.. the rites of spring.. kite flying.. building kites.. flying them and building better ones.. sky filled with lots of kites as friends all get together.. the warm soft breezes heralding a teasingly hint of summer..
