Me and the missus watched 'Waitress' last night, about a waitress and her 2 friends, their pies and her pregnancy. It is a sweet and melancholy movie. One of the co-stars, Adrienne Shelly, who also wrote and directed the movie and whose 2 year old daughter has a brief appearance, was murdered before the release. One of those random psycho killer things. What kind of world is it where someone makes a sweet movie and then dies at some crazy's whim?

after the photo that was posted of mrs. p, i'm glad to know that she didn't kill mr. p. although i - and a lot of other readers i'm sure - would like to know what she did do to him?
I loved that movie. So sweet. Poor Adrienne, she didn't deserve that.

Stuff like that just makes me so angry. What an insane thing to do and how pathetically wrong, as well. She, with all that talent, and he? What of him? Apprehended, I hope, but will probably be hospitalized and taken good care of.
the murderer has confesed and may have videotaped himself in the act...
