(rude gnome sculpture by Gary Rith)
I've had it with February. Tomorrow is a BIG day, the missus, my niece AND my dog Buster all have birthdays March 1. In the meantime, February still stinks. I had fired the kiln yesterday plus blasting the heat, I am making great things this morning, BUT my hands are already frozen...it is hard to keep a studio and your water bowl warm, therefore icy fingers.

I'm just glad it was my husband's turn to stand with the kids at the bus stop in the -20 degree air. This is a rough time of year, for sure.

Happy Birthday all you birthday peeps and pups!
Sorry your water is freezing cold, Gary. I add HOT to mine to warm it up. Sure helps! I am heading down to the garagio now to try and catch up after being sick four days....
Thank God tomorrow is March! I am sick of February too! And here, the temps are going up into the 60's! yay!
UGH, I know what you mean. February can stuff it!!!
And happy birthday to all!!!
Maybe you could make a peeing gnome statue to fit in with this theme.
Chiming in late again! When one works..
Listen - why don't you put one of those little hot plate warmers under your water bowl. Not exactly a 'hot plate', but a 'cup warmer' or something???
And where has Mary Lee been these days??? I'm beginning to think she's left for a warmer climate! ha!
