I stand corrected!

So much for my dreams.
The Giants won a rather terrific come from behind, underdog game. So much for assuming the Goliaths always win! Jim is welcome to tease me, my father too.

Jimbo said he's not going to flaunt the win, Gary. (right!) Then added: "it is what it is"...(as he throws his head back in laughter!)

I am not a football fan--far from it, but I actually watched some of last night's game. I started paying attention in earnest in the fourth quarter and was amazed at how the score flip-flopped! It really looked like the Pats had it, but life is full of surprises. It was almost enough to convert me...

PS--I live in New York around the corner of a sports bar. You can always tell when a favorite team wins--the cheering carries throughout the neighborhood. When it was clear the Giants would win, you could hear the roaring loud and boisterous. The noise went for almost an hour, and even close to midnight you could still hear people yelling in the streets. It was quite a night here in NYC.
