Circle, Pride

Tink's Tuesday photo challenge is circle and pride. Got it in one!

This week marks the 16th anniversary of me and my wife's first KISS. Then we realized we were an item. We had known each other 3 years and I had worked at the educational studio and gallery she ran. But the end of January 1992, there it was. She was getting on the bus. I leaned over and kissed her ear. She smiled and rode off, and from then on....well, 11 months later, Christmas Eve 1992 we got married.
I have a feeling of pride over this gold circle on my ring finger. It was my wife's grandmother's wedding ring (yes--GRANDMOTHER) and she must have had BIG fingers, because it fits loosely on my right hand.

What a nice story, Gary. I'm sure Maude's Grandmother is proud that you're wearing her ring.

This just made me reflect back 17 years...

Very nice, Gary. The 19th of Feb will mark 20 years since Bridget and I first went out.

Aw. ::sniff::

My fella and I have decided to count from the day we met. Five months and 10 days ago - a record for me. ;-)

Hey, you could say it's sentimental, or you could say it's reduce, reuse, recycle.

Glad to know Grandma's ring is in the family.

Deeply touching, Gary, and very sweet and hardly unexpected from you, either!

Hi Gary,
Love the blog and the romantic story. I suspect that women of the past did have larger fingers, all that bread kneeding and washing with scrub boards...happy aniversary.

Love the photo. It says it all, fer sure!

What a sweet story! Most men don't remember their wedding anniversary, let alone something like a first kiss. That's just too cool.

Sure I remember, because I have a thing for that spot just under her ear.
I hope you fantastic people (first visitors)will visit again!

Did you mean to kiss her ear or was that just bad aim? ;)

LOVE the picture. Perfect use of the words.

I was aiming for that little soft under ear bit...you know, she was boarding a bus and I was being sneaky...
