Pottery in action: triangle envy!

(piggy plate by Gary Rith)
Tink's Tuesday photo challenge is 'triangle envy'. I have become more and more impossibly lactose intolerant, which is hard for a vegetarian, so I went vegan. The wife, however, gets all the ice cream and cheese she likes. You know I am envious of her little triangular wedge of spicy cheddar here, displayed of course, on my piggy plate.

What a lovely wedge of cheese, Gary. Just think of the things you could do with this...eat it with a nice crusty bread - melt some over chili - spice up a nice juicy burger on the grill...hahaha! ;)

well, SOME people will enjoy it...

What, they don't make tofu cheese?

Bleh. ;)

YES, they do, and it is quite good when you have forgotten what real cheese is like...ditto ice cream and a lot of other things!

I love tofu. Unfortunately people with thyroid disease should NOT eat soy...so I have it as an occasional treat.

I have thought of going Vegan...but I don't know what I would put in my morning espresso if I could not have cream. Or soy.

espresso makes the pottery world go 'round, baby!

I don't do a lot of milk (skim on cereal only) or ice cream (I would rather have Italian ice or a popsicle), but I do LOVE cheese. I don't believe I could ever give it up, and I don't want to try! Bring on the cheddar, even better on a piggy plate!

Shredded cheddar on scrambled eggs that have been infused with sour cream. Cooked delicately in the slightest hint of oil from the bacon. Add a touch of chopped green onions and you've got yourself a wonderful breakfast...bacon on the side. ;)
