SUPER WEEK 2008: my predictions (if anyone cares)

I can't resist. I dreamt, I really did, that I could read the future and this is what my dreams told me:
As a person who lived outside of Boston forever but who now lives in New York, I am tickled to see a NY-NE Superbowl. The Patriots have been a fun team to watch for years, and I shall wear their jersey today. On the other hand, you have to admire the extreme underdog status driving the Giants. However, the Pats are going to kill the Giants. It won't even be very close. Tom Brady is just too good, and Belicheck could win this game with both hands tied behind his back and a team composed of tofu pups.
The primary is closer. I see McCain winning the republican side easily, although I would prefer one of those (!!!) guys like Huckabee or Romney, as they would be easier to defeat in November. I see Hillary winning Tuesday, and winning the nomination. She is my senator, and maybe she isn't perfect, but she is smart and experienced and capable, and people may have forgotten the unprecedented peace and prosperity of the late 90s. The US is in a mess. If I made a mess, I would have to clean it up and apologize. Instead, this George will go back to Texas where he can watch baseball and clear brush on his ranch. I wouldn't mind seeing Hillary and Obama on the ticket together, it would be pretty darn exciting.
Let's see how my dream predictions pan out, huh?

The Superbore festivities started at 10am this morning on Fox, Gary.

I have little doubt that Obama and Clinton will be the democratic duo, but the more important question is who's driving? Given the UGLY dirt that her camp (including her formerly respectable husband) has slung in Obama's direction, I will be saddened to see her in the big chair.

That said, I'd love to see the bigoted heads explode all over the bible belt when a woman AND a black man take the White House. :-D

I've been saying for a few weeks now how I'd love to see them both on the same ticket! But like Gordo just said: Who's driving???

I suppose I'd be more comfortable w/ Hilliary in the drivers seat first.

Yea - the bible belt will roll, won't they?

Go Pats!

Let' hope that the dems can be polite and nice to each other, right? As for the Super Bowl, we have no TV, BUT the folks next door have an enormous new one, and we are going over with a bottle of cheap red wine. It is really cheap, but has a cute little monkey on the label, so we had to try it.

I am wondering if there will be hate mail? Like from my parents, the republican Giants fans. Ha ha, they're nice, but they should listen to their son....

Oh - forgot to mention before - GO Pats! (Jim still wants the Giants...hahaha!)

Hmmm.....I think you stole that Clinton/Obama ticket prediction from MY BLOG! :)

Well, at least Jimbo's happy! Although, it was a good play, wasn't it?

HP - I think everyone is thinking the same thing, right about now. I've heard countless people echoing the same feelings re: Clinton/Obama. It just makes sense, doesn't it?
