(niche mugs with bunnies and an elephant pedestal sugar bowl by GR)
Early on a cold and snowy Sunday, most busy. The house is filthy, and those teapots, banks, mugs and bowls won't make themselves. I had too much fun Saturday, time to fill the shelves with work.

I'm thinking if I were the kinda person who took sugar in their tea, that sugar bowl would result in many a confounded morning after.
things like this also used to be called a stash box, like for, ah, stashing jewelry and little secrets, or simply for sitting on a shelf collecting dust and looking pretty
Spring, technically, arrives in 17 days. Historically, Kingston is in for at least one more snowstorm and a moderate cold snap.
"Stash box"? I like that.
I know, we will be lucky to see spring sometime next summer, but still, having had nice weather, going down way below freezing again...
um, yeah, stash box was a common term from, OH the 60s to the 80s, maybe in Canada it still is. But, this is a sugar bowl and a family friendly blog.
It snowed here, too. I couldn't believe it! It felt like nice Spring days on Friday and Saturday!
I'm ready for Spring to come.
Your niche mugs just get cuter and cuter!
Would you mind showing how the sugar bowl/stash box works? Like, mebbee take off the lid? (Take it off, take it all off....)
Why March indeed... Why not just have June after February? Cut to the chase, I say.
It's a good looking sugar bowl.
Oh, and congratulations on the Moosewood show. I used to like those books too when I was a vegetarian.
Thanks Marian, and sure thing Mona!
