totally ordinary blue pots

(by Gary Rith)
I promised Holley a small pitcher and bowl for her Montessori classroom. I think it has something to do with making a mess.
The very nice midwestern lady who is filling her kitchen with pots by me asked for 2 slighty different sized jars, sans bunny, and here they are. Of course, all this plain pottery makes me itch for wild stuff....

So, Grego comes today from Canada for a petite blog meetup and such. We shall have to clean clean clean. Weather is OK, but the dogs have been dragging in all the mud from the yard. And Greg is bringing a custom made table for us....

Your pots are never ordinary, Gary.

Oh, my no! Never! And those blue ones today are especially lovely, Gary. They give me that proprietary ache in the heart that tells me I sure wish that were mine! And then practicality strikes and I remember my youngest child warning me he'd remove something I loved every time I bought something new if I didn't slow down.

Sleek, clean, crisp, sharp, classy...or adorned with animals, they're all great!

I agree, they are not ordinary in the least! I confess, I am a huge fan of the "plain" blue ones...and the "plain" red ones. They are absolutely GORGEOUS!
Someday I am going to break open a non-Gary piggy bank and buy some!

These jars are so beautiful! I may want to order some for myself.
